Genghis Kahn
Genghis Khan was the founder and first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of Northeast Asia. The assemblage shows the nature and historical timeline of war through the ages represented by mythology, Revolutionary, Napoleonic and the great wars of Genghis Kahn and the Mongol Empire. It is made up of about 30+ cut plate elements from the original "History of France" books published in London, 1883 by Sampson Low, Marston, Searle, & Rivington 188 Fleet Street.
Archival print on Hahnemuhle Matte Fine Art paper. 36”x20”. The print paper size includes a white border along with signature, title and embossed ‘artists’ stamp.
